BASEF success for grade 12 student, Noah Muntwyler

Noah Muntwyler, a grade 12 student from Hamilton, worked with Lori, Ryan Lamers, and Hanjeong Harvey to create his Bay Area Engineering and Science Fair project, which examined the effects of anti-parastitic drugs on bacteria including isolates from the horse gut microbiome. His project was very well received and he came away with over $600 in awards, plus a silver medal! He will be starting at the University of Guelph in September 2016 on a prestigious President’s scholarship, which includes a research grant to pursue his interests in science. Very happy for you, Noah!
